Terms of Service – Framed by MJ
Welcome to Framed by MJ, a bespoke framing studio based in Wellington, New Zealand. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These ensure clarity and protect both our customers and our studio.

1. Payment Terms
All invoices must be paid in full prior to collection of your framed artwork.
Payment is due within 7 days of invoice issue unless otherwise arranged.
If you require delivery, please specify this at the time of order. Delivery charges will be added to your invoice accordingly.

2. Pickup and Delivery
You will be notified when your framing job is complete and ready for pickup.
If you’ve opted for shipping, courier options include NZ Post and Pack & Send. Shipping costs are calculated based on size, weight, and destination, and will be added to your invoice. All items are carefully packaged, but we are not responsible for any damage that may occur during transit. We recommend insured delivery for valuable or irreplaceable works.

3. Returns & Damage Policy
We stand by the quality of our framing craftsmanship. If there is an issue with the frame itself (e.g., fault in materials or construction), please return the framed artwork to us within 7 days of collection or delivery so we can assess and resolve the issue.
Returns must include the original framed artwork. We do not accept returns of the frame alone without the artwork it was designed for.
No refunds will be given for smashed, broken, or damaged artwork, especially if caused during transit or after pickup.

4. Custom Orders
All framing jobs are custom and made to order, meaning no refunds or exchanges are available for change of mind.By approving your order, you acknowledge that all specifications (size, materials, colour, etc.) have been reviewed and confirmed.
